I have A consecutive pair of 901 seireis III and Vintage Bose 108787 Spatial Control Receiver w/901 spk outputs from same era.. the receiver is the large one( 125 wat per channel), not the smaller 550 model.. .
the speakers are 100% intact and no tears or rotten cones or paper.. the receiver is made by Bose for operation of Bose 901 seiries III or IV speakers.. the 901 equalizer is built into it.. receiver all works Only problem is some of the light bulbs or fuses for them ( not all lights work) the cabnets / wood is all in fantastic condition, 1977 or 1978 Vintage U.S. Army P.X. inGermany...I do not have the cloth speaker cabnet covers...was kool to see the speakers back in my younger days, and I have miss placed them now
all the controlls are correct. ..
I have it hooked up and they can be seen and listened to any time.. just bring your fav CD or i have an antenna hooked to it for radio right now.
there is as extras to the deal, seprate Working EQ for seiries III speakers and a set of original Bose 901 first production(( need re coned.. beat up cabnets too )) that will go with this deal... I use them as stands for the others...tipped on sides..
