THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
As some of you are probably aware, I recently re-located... Starting on roughly 6-20-2012, I began the process of moving my shop and home to a new location. Not only that, but I also applied for a change of address on my FFL thru the ATF. As of now, the moving process is DONE and the shop is back up and running again. Not only is the move complete, but the ATF has granted my request for an address change and my new premises have been cleared (by the ATF) for business .

I will start back taking work on 7-5-2012 - and may consider offering special pricing as a way of re-gaining business after the move!!

Btw - to those of you who have recently sent me work, or have been dealing with me in any way - THANK YOU for your patience during this moving process. It's honestly been a rough move, and it is still somewhat in progress, but I have everything setup in the shop to do business with..

***That said** - STARTING 7-5-12, I WILL OFFICIALLY BE BACK IN BUSINESS .

Original AD below::

Hi,
I am an 07FFL in Pike county, Kentucky - Particularly Pikeville Floyd county, Kentucky - particularly Van Lear and I am taking ALL kinds of stamped receiver AK build work right now. I have been building AK's since 2004 and I can honestly say that there has never been a time in which someone was disappointed with my build work. I do normal stamped receiver AK and RPK builds - **AND** I do builds involving USA made barrels that have never been installed on a gun before! I have done more than my share of american made barrel builds and every one I have done has resulted in the customer being very satisfied with my work.

As of right now, my average turn around time on a build is approximately 2-3 weeks on virgin barrel / USA made barrel builds. If your build involves an original military barrel, the time should be less than 2-3 weeks unless you need me to order parts for you or what not for your build.

I have PLENTY of pictures to show of the work I have done for customers in the past. ALL the builds were done with great attention paid to details. Not only do I have pics, I also have references (email addresses) to people you can contact to ask about my work. I will provide pics and references upon request.

I am an 07FFL (Type 7 federal firearms license holder) - however I am NOT licensed to manufacture anything involving NFA items (Short barreled rifles, machineguns, destructive devices, suppressors, etc..) .

I am able however to SERVICE anything NFA related. For example, if you need your registered SBR re-barreled or re-finished - I can do that! The same also applies to full auto weapons.

I will do barrel extension installation on builds such as Krinkovs or AMD-65's. In other words, if you send me your krinkov or AMD-65 kit, I will install the appropriate barrel extension that YOU provide to me in order to make your gun's barrel legal length.

Now offering PSL builds!! - I will build your PSL from a parts kit that has an original military barrel (with components PRE-installed)

Here are some services I do NOT offer::

Turning of barrels on a lathe to make aftermarket parts fit . In other words, if you have a saiga that needs it's barrel turned so it can accept AK-47 / 74 parts, I cannot do that as I do not have a lathe.

Receiver flat bending

Re-welds of milled (or even stamped) receivers

ANY kind of Duracoating - Effective 6-12-2012 . My duracoat supplier (whom I will NOT name) has been sending me BAD duracoat... I will NOT duracoat anymore until this problem with my duracoat supplier is RESOLVED TO MY SATISFACTION!

custom manufactured parts

Barrel crowning / threading / cutting

Milled receiver builds - UNLESS the barrel PRESS-FITS (without threading) into the receiver

Hot / cold bluing

Multi-color (or digital camo) duracoating
_____________________________________________________________________________________

When your build is done, I will TIGHTLY package it up in an 8x4x52 rifle box and return it. It will be FULLY insured with tracking- and a tracking number will be provided to you to track your build's progress thru the mail system.

I also offer discounts on multiple builds!

Lets say you have two AK parts kits you want me to build - you pay me full price for build #1 , however I will let you pay $10 less for build #2.

If you have any questions, PM me on here or email me - e2kcomputing (AT) yahoo (DOT) com . (of course replace the AT with the @ symbol and the DOT with a . first )

I DO California and other "ban state" friendly builds as well.. Check your local laws, determine what features you CANNOT have in your state / area and tell me what needs to be disabled or removed and I will take care of it for you. For example - Can't have a folding stock in California?? - No problem. I can disable the folding stock and fix it to NOT fold unless a pin is removed or a weld is cut.

Also - California customers - You *MUST* include a "bullet button" or mag lock device with your parts kit.. I will install it for you at no additional charge!

ETA::

Back to top, awaiting a positive feedback from member Nlinc (Nick L.)

ETA:: Did this build for Nick::

The build turned out GREAT, ran great when test fired (by me), and most importantly, he (Nick) was well pleased with it .

ETA2: I have lots of other build pics from various other AK's I have built for customers.. They are all available upon request.

Update (3-14-12) :: Received an IM from Nick L. stating that he put a few mags thru the AK-74 I built for him (see pic above) and it ran great . I look forward to doing LOTS more business with him and I really look forward to doing business with anyone else who's wanting an AK built from a kit.

If I have a kit sent to you can you provide the receiver and sent the completed rifle back to my FFL? If so what is the price of assembly for a standard AK74 plus a bare receiver?

This is a Tula krinkov I recently built from an Rguns kit .. **Please note** Pics were taken BEFORE finish was put on the receiver, etc... . Sorry about that...

Also:: Any white spots / blotches you see on the pics are camera flash.. I will get some better pics of this Tula krinkov up sometime soon...

More build pics added...

Up-close shot of my rivet work...

Underfolder build?? No problem

Are you in california?? No problem - I install "bullet buttons" or other mag lock / block devices (see pic below) . I also pin open (or otherwise disable) the underfolder stock for California customers. The pinning is completely invisible on the outside of the gun at all times.

ETA:: the underfolder AK in the pics above HAD its underfolding stock PINNED in the "open" position BEFORE it was shipped home to California.. I folded it just to get some pics, then opened the stock and disabled the folding feature.

Need an excellent looking Triangle sidefolder or krinkov build done ?? No problem!!

**I also install barrel extensions by blind pinning to extend your short barrel out to 16 inches . *see pic above*

I just received my Yugo M70 AB2 (Underfolder) that daniel built and duracoated for me, and it looks fantastic! His rivet work look great, the duracoat looks great, the whole build is top notch, and done fast.
If you have a kit that needs built, I suggest you send it his way, you will be very happy with his work.

Thanks again Daniel!

Bump - back to top...

Guys - It is with great displeasure that I have to announce that I am stopping offering duracoating services effective immediately (starting today - June 12,2012)... My duracoat supplier has recently sent me some bad quality duracoat and as a result, I am SUSPENDING any and all duracoat work until further notice.. That being said, ALL BUILDS are going to be done on a "you apply the finish of your choosing" basis.. I will paint a gun for you, no problem - but duracoating is out of the question until my supplier resolves my issue with their products to my satisfaction..

My stopping doing duracoating for now is in the best interests of my customers, and will in the long run save all involved a lot of heartaches and headaches... I apologize for any and all inconveniences this may (or may not) cause, but I simply am looking out for the best interests of my customers.

Thank you for understanding.

Daniel

ETA - 7-17-12 - In the place of duracoating, I will be offering KG coating instead.. The price for KG coating one gun will be the cost of the KG coat liquid itself plus shipping - **AND** a shop supplies / labor fee of $40 for applying the KG coating on ONE gun. Please note - Return shipping costs are NOT included in the cost of the KG coating OR the shop supplies / labor fee and **ARE** extra.

Just got my #'s Matching 1986 Tula AKS-74U build back from Grizzly50cal and all I can say is wow, this thing is nice! Beautiful work man. I can tell this won't be my last build with Daniel. His work is top notch and he went out of his way to do it exactly as I wanted, even though I was a very picky customer and beyond that, his prices were well below what most other builders were quoting me, and his work compares on par with my Arsenal. As for the rest, well, i'll let the pics speak for themselves.

Posting to be able to leave FEEDBACK for grizzly50cal.

And pictures!

I sent Dan my VZ-58 (DTechnik) and Bulgarian AK-74 parts kit w/ virgin Bulgy barrel, compliance parts, and Nodak Spud receiver.
Now my VZ has the proper front sight with the bayonet lugs and Czech muzzle brake.
The Bulgy, well, the pictures speak for themselves, even with my horrible photography skills.

Hugely POSITIVE feedback from me posted for Flatfoot762 .

Just a follow-up to the feedback I left.... Jonathan (FlatFoot762) is a GREAT guy to deal with. He purchased from me a Romanian RPK that I built from a parts kit by paying me in installment payments paid over the period of a few weeks and not only did he always pay on time, but he paid completely as promised and he was very friendly to deal with throughout our whole transaction. Not only that, but he kept in constant contact with me as I did with him from start to finish.

Deal with Jonathan (Flatfoot762) with the utmost confidence . I most definitely look forward to dealing with him again sometime in the future in some way whether it be building him another AK or even selling him something that I offer for sale.

Here's a few pics of the RPK that Jonathan purchased from me ::

P.s. Jonathan - when you get a minute, you are welcome to take a better pic of the RPK and post it up... I took these pictures indoors and the lighting wasn't as good as it would have been had I been outdoors... oops.. .

Thank you!
