I am interested in mounting a light on the bayonet lug of a Mossberg 500 special use (the tube is the same length as the barrel). Have you seen this light mounted that way? I wanted to put a small rail section adapter on the bayonet lug and then mount the light to the rail but I'm not sure if the light will fit because it seems quite long. Do you know one way or the other? Thanks!

Just a thank you for my weapon light, it's a solid piece for the money and it's been awfully handy around the farm.

Is this light still made where you can remove the extension and run it with only two batteries?

Also, is it a forward or reverse clicky tailcap? Meaning if you depress the button without going so far to make it click, will the light come on or not?

Thanks!

The body does come apart but the spacing is not designed to allow for only two batteries. The current batch has been upgraded so you can press for momentary on the pull all the way for constant on.

Thanks

I still love my weapon light, but it looks like my tape switch died (seems to be a bad solder connection in the battery cap, not the tape). Is there a replacement part number I could order?

Do you make these with green or red leds? It would completely complete my varmint rig.

You will not regret it, they are worth every penny. I'm going to order another soon. It has been noted in the
other thread but thought I'd mention it here too, you can remove a section and go from 3 battery to 2 battery
mode. I don't know how it affects battery life, but it seems to be the same level of brightness.

Can the light be "locked off" to prevent light NDs?

You can back off the tail cap but no build in lock.

Love this light! Got it the day before a duck hunt and I wanted to see how it worked outside so I carried it along for the hunt. Used it to see all the way across the river
