I better wait until after the Shot show next month before I commit to anything else. I have several meetings there with other suppliers and will see some new products from the current one. I am also trying to close a deal to bring in some high end military optics from Israel. |

Marsh,
Can you post some pics up similar to what I posted in this thread, the last post, on the Micro Clone I came across: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=75&t=754612&page=3 Just to verify... you said the mount can not be removed...Can the mount be removed but the Aimpoint Micro mounts will not fit because there is no provision for the indexing bump that real Aimpoints use or can the mounts just flat out not be removed? Your's seems to place the power switch on the top of the sight vs on the side like the Aimpoint. Sig was importing some micro like sights with the power adjustment knob on the top. The units you are offering look like the Sig units. For what it's worth, searching on the net indicated that the first few batches Sig sent out had dead on arrival issues so I'd power them up before you ship to customers. The ones that powered up seemed to be fine. ALSO, from postings on the net and Google, it looks like Sig wanted close $300.00 each so your price is a lot better!!! Wes |

Wes Wes The mount does not come off at all. This is not meant to be a exact clone but a high quality small red dot. IMHO this is a way better option that a Burris Fastfire or similar small red dot where you are mounting it right to the rail. I open and test every unit before it ships so you will not get a DOA unit. For what it is worth no legitimate manufacturer will make a Aimpoint T-1 clone because it is new enough that the design patent is still in effect. Not the case with the M3 design. These are a great value at $89 I will work on some picture but it will be a few days as I am swamped with orders. Thanks Marshall |

People have used my M3 clone in a low mount on that setup and this one actually sits a little lower. I will post the height of the dot off the rail when I get to the shop tonight. |

UPDATE; The dot sits right at 5/8" above the rail and the only AKs for sale were $900!!! |

It survived on my .50 Beowulf which is my last test but I did not put a lot of rounds downrange with it. My normal policy is defective exchange only but f you want to do the shotgun test if it fails I will refund purchase price and your return shipping. IM or email me if you want to try it out. Looks like a great, little sight and I'm interested.
May have overlooked it, but is the sight waterproof or water resistant? Thanks. BTW, do you ever come to the gun shows in Dallas? If so, will you be at any of the shows in early '09? |

I have a brand new Mossberg 930 SPX tactical shotgun and I'm looking for a mini-dot to put on the accessory rail. Since the iron sights are a bit different from AR sights, I wonder if it would work on my shotgun without a riser? Hmmmm?!

Well my wife says I can't buy every gun for testing purposes so you are going to have to measure. The Micro dot will put the dot approxamatley 5/8" above the top of the rail. |

Marshall,
Thanks for the feedback about the dot being 5/8" above the rail. I should be able to measure and see how this would work out on my new Mossberg. My biggest concern is whether or not the back sight will look through the lower portion of the glass or if it will be staring into the base of the micro dot. I didn't figure that you'd go out and purchase a 930 SPX for yourself. However, if "product testing" will get another gun in your collection, you're building a business after all! |

Paypal sent for one MICRO DOT.
The M4 scope that I ordered from you 3 days ago arrived today. Thanks for the quick shipping. Haven't been to the range yet with it but will run some through it tomorrow. Seems to be a great scope...built like a tank and very prcise reticles. This doesn't seem to be the normal chinese junk aimpoints that have been around for the last few years. EDIT: had a chance to run this at the range and am impressed. The reticles are crystal clear and as bright as any aimpoint or eotech. Thanks and please let me know when the Micro goes out Vr Paul |

Just wanna put up some pictures of the Micro Dot in use. After this weekend, the scope has had about 1k down the range and the rifle was banged around abit in the back of the truck. No issues what so ever with dot brightness or holding zero. Cant wait to beat up on one of your next products Marsh1, thanks for the excellent product/service!
Microdot mounted with the YHM spacer on a Vltor CASV rail.
Shot from the other side.
