The magnifier doesnt have any zero to lose. So...when storing i keep it like this. When shooting I remove the caps. If this were my primary defense weapon the caps would be off all the time. Hope that helps. |

Marsh,
Can you post a pic of the inside of the battery cap and the inside of the battery compartment WITH THE BATTERY REMOVED!?! Does the design use a spring in the battery cap like the old Comp M's or does it use the newer M2/M3 type cap? Thanks, Wes |

Marshal,
Are these coming from a place in Hawaii? the tracking number you sent me gives me this message when checking the tracking number: Your item was processed and left our HONOLULU, HI 96820 facility on November 30, 2008. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later. |

I just looked at your tracking info. Only the post office would take a package to HI from Texas to go to AK. That is your correct tracking number that is automatically generated once I print the shipping label. I have had this happen before but won't leave you hanging if it doesn't make it to you. As you can tell from the other post I take pride in quick shipping and will have other shipping options once the web site is up. |

Took the glass cover off my living room light, 4 light bulbs, very very bright. Than put my 50 inch plasma tv on a blank white screen, put the red dot on 7 and I could still see it against the screen. |

Im new to red-dots on an ar, never owned a red dot ever! I have a flattop LMT with a standard front gasblock sight and a LMT buis.
If I want to see the dot while keeping my irons in place, is that possible? Can the M3clone be mounted high enough to clear the iron sights? Do you use the low mount or the cantilever mount to make this happen? I want one, just dont understand, thanks!!!!! Sean (happy_gopher) |

It puts the dot just above the irons. This is called co-witness. That allows you to use the irons if the red dot fails with out having to remove it. The rear sight won't be in your way and your brain will tune it out when you concentrate on the dot but if it bothers you replace the fixed rear with a flip up. |

Glad someone offered these at a great price here on ar15.com. If you buy these, you surely wont be dissappointed!!

If I order the M3 clone with cantilever mount, does the low-rise mount still come with the set? And/or can it be ordered with the Q/D mount from the 3x magnifier (and yes, it would be understood that a zero-hold before/after removing wouldn't be likely) ?
Thanks! |

The first batch had the low mounts in the box but now they only come with the mount you order. Yes you can substitute the QD mount for the cantilever mount on the red dot at the same price. It is very sturdy and can be adjusted to compensate for differences in rail sizes, but as you stated will not repeat zero vey well. |

Hot Damn Hot Damn!
This is niceeeeeeeeee. Marsh - you shipped yesterday and its here today. GREAT JOB! My camera battery is charging right now so i can show everyone the 3x and the red dot. Both are VERY VERY VERY nice. Im OCD and researching the best entry budget type reddot - everything is plastic fantastic compared with this metal nice piece. I should be heading to the range in the next few days so i will do a full noobie report. I am VERY satisfied. |

I bought one with the low mount and also bought the mount for the Magnifier. I the red dot mounted on a gooseneck mount. The question have is what is ment by co-witness. I have searched and can not find a picture to show whjat is ment by it. I have never used red dot sights and need help. My understanding is that by looking through the rear sight I should see the red dot sitting on top of the front sight post. Thias would be 1/3 co-witness. When looking through the rear sight and seeing the red dot half way down the front sight post this would bve absolute co-witness. Please help. Below is the picture of the of my setup. I used the low mount since the quick detach mount looked to high. I used it to attach a flashight. The gooseneck mount is an AIMPOINT.

I will get a picture of one in my mount tonight. Yes you put it behind the EOTech for long distance (usually 250+ yards) shots. It just makes your target 3 times bigger. See the photo on page one of the post. ![]() |
