Well, what can I say. I love this truck. It's taken me 5 years to piece this together, and been spending almost every weekend since October wrenching on it. I've been eyeballing some 5-tons, but I think its time to give up the green iron and get back to school.

Details: 1999 M35A3, # 505385. This truck came out of Fort Polk last May, and I picked it up from the buyer in October. Truck has some cancer under the cab, but in areas not visible from the outside, and a simple cut and weld project (the channels under the doors). Other than that, there's really nothing wrong with this truck at all, completely mechanically and structurally sound. Truck starts instantly and runs great, transmission shifts excellent, all systems work. CTIS controller just returned from repair from CM Automotive, traced air leak to rear axle. Driver's seat cover is perfect, passenger seat cover has some grease marks (my fault) but zero rips or scuffs.

The only trouble spots on the truck are hub seals on the rear most axle (cause of CTIS issues), as well as needing outer seals and boots in the front axle. Windshields have good glass, but cancered frames. Drove the truck in 70mph winds and rain, cab kept the rain out.

Current mileage is inaccurate, but hours are documented and confirmed at 290 total time. I have the original GL webpage saved for the buyer's records.

Now, for the goodies! What I've installed as follows:

Uninstalled Trimble Pathfinder+ GPS (civilian version of TrimPack military GPS), have entire GPS kit Plus vehicle mount
2 x 24V GoLights (only one pictured currently)
COMPLETE SINCGARS RT-1439 with highpower radio amp, NOS Tray, AND NOS VIC-1 system, will include working H-250 hand set NOS, antenna and battery box with one good battery
TruckLite LED headlights and front turn signals, rear Grote taillights, all NEW
NOS turn signal switch and NOS flasher relay
Push button headlight switch
1984 manufacture M66 gun ring, with 2 ammo can holders
NEW fiberglass bed cover bows and head board, and older troop seats from my old A2
3 year old Tan bed cover, still weather proof
NOS CTIS control harness and headlight mesh covers not installed
24v Back up alarm, wired into reverse lights
Rifle Mounts
All filters replaced and oil and transmission fluids replaced
Civilian wiper blades and arms
NOS Headlight buckets not installed

Previous owner rattle-canned with green camo Rustoleum paint, but looks pretty good. Was prepping the truck for a tan make over, just havent gotten around to it yet. This truck has been great to me, but its time I entertain selling the old girl and finishing up my school.

Looking for $15,000, with clear Texas title in hand. Listed as AM General 2.5 ton. I'll throw in some desert cammies that match the unit markings, some old alice packs and some misc. display gear as well.

More photos to come of engine bay and complete interior this weekend!
