I’m behind enemy lines in CA, I have an old friend moving back to California from Idaho soon. He’s just out of an ugly divorce and has a good job waiting for him back here.
He asked me what he can, can’t and should bring with him. He has two old colt SP1’s I told him he can’t bring back. Serial #’s show that one is from 1975 and the other from 1983. He also has a pre-ban Dalpon (made by Oly I think) lower he can’t bring back. It has been brought to my attention that there are states where these lowers are needed and bring a premium. In what states are old Colt’s welcome? What states are they banned? Any help and advice as to how to facilitate to sale of these lowers would be greatly appreciated. |

I am in WNY, I am NOT looking for a lower..lol.. I am looking for any complete Colt AR rifles that may be for sale in the BUFFALO area. I am not looking to buy and sell, I want them for my kids. I dont predict that NYS will ever lift the ban and I want my boys to have a quality piece to pass along. I am not really interested in doing too much out of state dealings, would rather purchase from NY'ers in my area. I know that beggers cant be choosers but I just figured I'd through this out there.

It sucks, but thats what it is..
CORRECTION: I stated that I am not looking for a LOWER, i am looking for a lower if it is COLT- ty Its crazy to think that some of these lowers sell for 600,700 and much more just because they are pre-ban.You'd figure that the guys in the "free" states would be jumping at the chance to swap them out with people who kinda need them and making a few bucks in the process, but AR lowers are still at a premium for NY'ers (and others). I supposed because supply is limited and demand is high, capitalize prevails. I don't mind spending for these parts, but i think that $800.00 for a lower is just gouging those behind the lines. I am thinking I will just start watching GB, I can find one complete for around a G. K |

They're all paranoid that if they give a deal, the people in the ban states will just flip them for more money.
Either way, the spirit of 'helping' out the people in the ban states doesn't really exist. This thread is a slap in the face. |

Its sad that there is some greedy people out there, but it doesn't make the rest of us greedy. The majority of us in upstate NY are so poor we can barley afford a post ban stripped lower let alone one that costs more than a brand new gun. I believe in capitalism, but I also have principles. I don't understand why other gun supporters would jerk the rest of us off for a cheap profit. That being said i implore people who are in ban free states to trade or sell their pre ban lowers to those of us in a ban state for cheaper than what they are going for. Our country is going (gone?) to pooh, we the people might as well go down with some decency helping each other out. |

I have a VGC SGW stripped lower. PMags Drop Free... (Not Cast)
I would consider trading it for a complete factory assembled Colt lower. Same size take down pins. Nothing marked AR-15 or Sporter. EMail me if interested in trading. Would like to FTF in CT or if shipped you pay all fees. |

Looking to trade for a pre-ban lower complete or stripped. I have to offer a brand new, never fired Spikes Tactical complete lower with Magpul grip and mil-spec buffer tube. Due to Connecticut laws and Colt being a manufacturer here we are not allowed to own certain models. I believe everything else is good to go.

I have a PWA Commando complete lower, sn 2xxxx, A2 grip and 6 pos extension (no stock). Purchased new by me in 93 (if memory serves me).
I've got a BCM upper so I'd be interested in having a complete BCM lower to match it. I'd trade the PWA for a new BCM (without stock is fine) plus $150 to cover outbound shipping and transfers from my FFL to your FFL. *SOLD* |

I have a Bohica complete lower that I am considering selling, parting out.. however I am in NY and dont know when I will be leaving. I will be leaving here but when I dont know.
I bought mine here from a member a while ago. paid quite a bit. let me know of any interest.. I am just seeing what my options are with letting this go.. Im looking for a smith and wesson M&P in 45acp - I dont need another AR lower as I have two others.. I really need cash.. here is the pic Its a BOHICA from Sedalia CO they went out of business in the 80's I had a piston upper on this for about 300rds.. the trigger pins are KNS anti walk.. and yes it has marks on it but is that really important? let me know..  |

** TRADED **
 Bought it used, as pictured, from an FFL during the federal ban. It has a 4-position, milspec diameter buffer tube (not staked) and stock of unknown manufacture. Finish is darker than it appears in the pic, more like an early Colt (see pic on white background in album). There is some minor finish wear, most you can't see unless you're holding it at the right angle; some shiny spots where it mates with the upper; a small ding to the left of the bolt catch. I'll be shipping through an FFL on my side, so I'd like some cash to cover my costs (~$40 + actual shipping/insurance costs) in addition to your lower. My preference would be for a BCM lower (I've got a BCM upper), but I won't turn down your Knight's SR-15 lower (a guy can dream). I'd like to leave this up for about a week so it gets seen and I will make a decision after considering all offers. I'll edit this post once I have accepted a trade. Let me know what you've got.
