Our house was broken into last Wednesday while we were at work. Thief took:

GAP built 700 in 308. Has camo HTG stock, Rock Creek heavy fluted barrel 23". M4 metal, badger base and rings. Barreled action is OD Ceracoat. Had new Bushnell HDMR scope with GAP reticle on it. Harris bipod with Larue QD. TAB Gear sling.
Rifle SN is G6286444.
Didn't get scope SN. Just got it.

Shark15 AR9mm SBR with 5" barrel, Yankee Hill Diamond hand guard, vltor CAR stock. Was in a black bag. Bag had 6 Colt magazines 32 round in pouch.
SWR Trident 9 suppressor with 3 lug QD. Aimpoint Comp M4S.
Rifle SN SWA000040
Suppressor SN T9-1901
Don't have Aimpoint SN

Range bag with other items. I don't have SN for other stuff. Spotter Leupold and Bushnell range finder.

Took a fire safe with wife's jewelry, little bit of cash, documents and my IPad.
If you see something suspicious like either of the above please email glock2627@gmail.com or

That might be the best way to track them down.

Thanks guys.
Yes I reported to PD when I found stuff missing. Reported NFA items to ATF next morning. Tried the IPad search. Found the latest software update is required to track. I didn't have it updated. Dumb Ass!!!
I live in Plano. Nice neighborhood but that's where ghetto dwellers steal shit. They don't have shit to steal there.
Have a few friends who are cops working on it.
Thanks for the support. I'll keep posted.

If you have the iPad registered with apple, call 1-800-MYAPPLE and you should be able to get your iPads serial number, if you don't already know it. With it, the police can enter it into the NCIC system as a stolen item. Improve the odds of finding the stuff.

That is not a gd/tool question, Its a legit question. If they were in a safe, Id like to know how they got in, force, finesse, found the key, took the whole safe? If they broke into a safe, id like to know what kind so i know what not to buy. The answers will benefit us all.

All firearms and suppressor recovered by Mesquite PD. I've been reunited with them. Still working in the other stuff.
As far as the "safe" question, the rifles were out on the work bench while I was away from the house. Don't make it a personal attack that the items were not in the safe, I think I still have rights to leave items in my house. It was my fault they were not in the safe but I don't need some smart ass to tell me so.
Thanks for the support.

Glad you got the items back.
wondering what , in general, security you've added.
Yes, Plano is a target for thieves. Know it well.
Now near Houston.
New bad g ploy is hitting peoppe in shopping center parking lots or following them home.
ened to me 3 times, wife once , neighbors a couple of times. We
We tied to get plates to PD but stolen. We have alrms, blinding flashlights ( Little Monster my favorite ), carry pistols , shotguns in vehicles , dogs, etc.
And this is considered a nice , safe, low crime neighborhood.

We are under siege mostly from Sanctuary illegals and theiir buddies, the Houston City Council.
My business has been hit 5 times

in the last 2 years, got video and alarms. Hou. PD never bothered to even
look at the video much less do anything whatsoever about the breakins. They did show up fast on 3 of them , an hour or more on 2.

Wish the criminals would just report to prison or the cops were allowed to go after them but .... we are on our own.
No amount of devices or locks works every time and nothing you own is worth dying for.
However, if you protect yourself and your stuff then the question is whether the criminal thinks going after you is worth their life.

P.S. You can get internet cameras that alert you to movement and stream kive to your smartphone. You can control lights and door locks too. And you can call 911 and describe the thieves to the operator, hopefully to an officer on scene as well.
Glad you recovered your gear and more glad it wasn't you or your family they went after.
