House got broken into during the day while I was at work. Homeowner's Insurance (State Farm) is apparently going to cover it all, including all the other stuff that's gone.
As a result, we've had an alarm put in and I'm not going to replace anything until I have a safe to lock everything up in. Kinda sad that I have to do that, but it's probably a good idea anyway... |

Maybe we will get lucky and the bozo's who stole your firearms gets killed and at the same time kills the bozo who stole my friends firearms from his trunk when he was in San Diego since he thought it safer than the Hotel. We can only hope these stolen firearms are put to good use thinning the herd of thieves and drug dealers. |

Yeah, I'm Tanque Verde and Pantano. Six break ins in a "nice" neighborhood. Mostly meth heads. Lost all my tools. Lived in DC ten years and it's Mayberry RFD compared to Tucson. Love Tucson, hate the crime.

There is a rip off crew working Arizona. They typicaly watch cops houses and also hit easy gun stores. They hit Shooters World in Phoenix for 40K in rifles and pistols.
These guys come about every 3 to 5 years from Mexico hit as many as possible shops and houses where they know guns will be. Keep your eyes open probably driving stolen vehicles from Phoenix. Hopefully only the dealers and crap bags are getting |

You ever get a safe?? I've got a Lincoln & Franklin models of Liberty safe from the Roadrunner safe place over on 4444 E Grant. Great safes, love 'em, and if anything (read ANYTHING) ever happens to it such as a attempted break in, fire, theft, bomb goes off, etc..., they'll fix it or replace it for free of charge for LIFE!!! I can hold something like 20 long guns in mine plus 10 or so handguns. Anyhow, it was definetly worth the money and they'll deliver it + install it for $150 I think it was. Just FYI.

I live up in the Hills so I don't have much to worry about.
my parents have been living here for 25 years and have never even had a pumpkin stolen during Halloween. Tucson is a great town but only certain parts. y'all need to get out of the hood |

The guns stolen from Shooters World earlier this year have turned up in Mexico as suspected. This crew might be the same ones who hit Tucson about the same time. Feds located about 30 of the guns taken from SW and more from 3 other Phoenix gun shops taken the same week while assisting the Mexico Feds with Drug raids.
There was also some Mexico Soldiers involved in a shoot out with Phoenix SAU after they killed a local drug dealer in Phoenix. The guys were wearing REAL police uniforms probably stolen from several robberies of COP houses. KEEP YOUR SHIT WIRED TIGHT! ![]() |

Sorry to hear about getting robbed. I'll keep an eye out too. I'm at Speedway and Country Club. Lots of break ins in my neighborhood. Lots of meth heads roaming this town. Sometimes I like to go what I call "crackhead fish'in" and cruise my neighborhood on bike late at night and see what kind of suspicious people I can stir up. You'd be surprised what I've seen. I know alot of houses where scum live. I know it sounds crazy but I'm still young. If you want to see a shady business, go to you local Superpawn and start asking about what happens to guns when someone brings them in. You'll get a very timid manager saying that there are no guns here, and they are all taken to Phoenix immediately after someone brings them in to sell them. "If you've had guns stolen then go through the police", "there's nothing we can help you with" Pawn shops: Supporting thieves and crackheads for over a hundred years

That sucks, man. When I was in the 5th-6th grade my parents owned a gun shop in Sunnyslope. It was robbed of, I believe 32 guns and out of all of them they only got one of them back. I think that one ended up in New York and was sent back. Not the best of stories to tell you, but there was some light I suppsoe at the end of the tunnel if only so small. Good luck.
