If it were me I'd open a negative thread at this point unless it's only been a week since he shipped the items.
Reason I'd open it is to get some help from the mods/staff and get his name out in the open. It may not help you but it would keep others in the future from getting the same treatment. |

What do you think is a reasonable amount of time for a Priority Mail package to arrive before it's considered lost? I've never had to wait more than 5 business days. I'm starting to think that since the guy didn't even know what I purchased, it was never mailed.

Got stuck in a machine somewhere (or the fires here in Colorado). Had another Priority package take a tour of California. Four cities "out for delivery" before it hit the correct one. Five days and I might give it two or three more if he had delivery confirmation. Without, not sure what to tell you. I'd definately be pretty pissy about it. |

Well, seller stepped up and refunded my money. Here's the kicker though, he refunded with PP (original payment method) and wrote in the comments "refund for ar15 items". The items weren't even gun related. What do you think the odds are I'll get my PP acct suspended and the refund frozen?

They more than likely won't catch it now but might in the future.

That pisses me off - you would think everyone around here would know that gun stuff and Paypal don't go together. I had a similar situation a little back where I had paid a member for a barrel and days went by while he said the barrel was being disassembled at his gunsmith .... all of a sudden I get a refund through my Paypal account with notes saying the ar15 gun barrel was ruined during disassembly at his gunsmith and so here is your refund for the ar15 gun barrel (not exact words however very close). Paypal did not catch it though. Luckily. Then a buddy of mine sent me some $$ through Paypal and wrote gun junky in the notes trying to be funny. They didn't catch that either ... luckily.... so I hit him with an electric stapler. Hopefully you will be ok with that. Some people suck is all I can say. |
