It needs to have the rivets on the front trunnion re-done, they have started to stretch and it has caused the top cover to no longer fit. the other rivets are fine. This is a very easy job for someone with a rivet jig, I just do not want to fool with it since I don't have the tools. Plus, I want to buy another M1 Garand from the CMP.
