THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT $1600 shipped and insured to your ffl. This rifle came out of a deseased general's collection. Apparently he had everything and anything. It appears to be some kind of clear coat on the wood furniture and it got on the finish of the rifle in a few spots as well. Not sure if it came this way from the factory or if the general had this rifle in one of his lighted display cases and added the clear coat after the fact or what. I've had people tell me the factory coated the furniture after it was assembled but i find that hard to believe. The substance in question has an almost greenish color when held under a bright light. Could be dried cosmoline for all know. There is cosmoline or grease still packed on the slant brake. I never messed with trying to get it off because i was afraid of damaging the finish. I've read simple green or other stuff would probably remove it unharmed. Don't know. The rifle appears to be fired like maybe a couple rounds. You can see in the pics. Any questions please IM or email. First "i'll take it" gets it. Make sure your ffl will receive from me. Your choice of carrier. Payment via money order, certified or personal check. Checks will have to clear before i ship.
