THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Commander User silent17 sent me a message with an offer: "I'll take it for $XXX shipped" I accepted and sent payment instructions - shortly thereafter he replied he didn't have paypal. No problem, I then sent my address to which he can send a USPS MO. He replies: "The ckeck will be in the mail on Monday. I am at a work function and will be back until then. mark it SPF please." Today he sends me a message that says: "Hello- This is embarassing. I left my messages up on ARFCOM and the wife saw what I was trying to do. She says no due to my saying no to a pair of shoes that she wanted...long story. Hoping that you will let me off the hook here? Let me know please, as I do not want anything neg here, and I do not want to be a welcher (even though thats whats happening). Again, very emabrassing to me and I want your knife, so its a double whammy. Let me know how to proceed." I kindly informed him I would be leaving negative feedback - I will also send him a link to this thread. |

Just a quick update -
He has now offered to buy, but in a week from today - "here we go. can you give me a week? I get paid next weds from some extra work i did that she does not know about, therefore she does not know that the money will be partially depleated." I let him know I am not interested in waiting another week for funds. |

tell him that we do not care what his wife says. a mod should email him and tell him that the check should be in the mail by friday or he will be booted

He should just send you the money now for the knife and when his "extra money" comes in, in a week, give that to the wife to buy her shoes.
ETA: oops just saw that you now have it SPF, well looks like he will have extra shoe money this week. |
