Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - HK Claw mount question

Is the HK claw mount supposed to sit all the way down on the receiver (PTR 91)? Or up on the mounting tabs on the receiver. This is my first claw mount and I'm in need of guidance. Thanks.

when you put it on, the right side claws should be under the tabs on the right. as you pull the lever down to lock it on, the left side claws should pull the mount down. ir it doesn't, you may have to adjust the tabs under the mount. look up how on mg42.net ( can't link)
