It's not too often I see H&Ks of the nonmilitary vintage so I thought I'd share a couple pics of a pair of rifles passed on to my son and I from my uncle.

HK 770 in .308 Win given to me.



HK 300 in .22 wmr given to my son.

They are beautiful firearms.  Have owned several myself but currently just have the model 300.  Kick myself for not buying a NIB 630 I had a chance to buy.

My good friend owns one of the 5 factory .243s that was imported.

Is the 770 still roller lock? (ETA- looked it up and yes it is. Jerry Miculek has a video shooting one on YT)

I always wanted an SL7 (or SL6)

I recall seeing an ad for an SL6 that has two round burst/semi/safe on the selector.

I like the paramilitary look of them, like a G43.
