Got mine in last week, of the alloys 6 were like new, 1 still in a bag dated 1968, 3 side surface wear from storage I would guess, 1 feed lip wear. Also got 4 of the steel mags, I can't tell they've ever been used, VERY nice. So of 14 mags, 1 has certainly seen use, the others I can't tell have ever been inserted in a firearm. On the pouches that Flecktarn is very nice, new I would say(dated 1996), no idea how to use those back hookups, may try to search for a German duty belt that fits those hookups or do a little canvas sewing. Also got one of the green rubberized pouches, looked dingy as hell(dated 1966) with a white waxy substance dried on it, I used some Armor All wipes on it, came out like new, believe I will use it for M14 mags, they fit perfectly.
WAY better quality of "surplus" mags from Royal Tiger than I have ever received from MidwaysUsa.
