Where can I find some Mp5 mags that work and are reasonably priced?

My DJF clone came with a POF mag and its been flawless...I can't seem to find those mags anywhere though...

Any other suggestions? Id rather not spend $75+ on a brand new HK mag.

Thanks!

Hoping RTG gets POF magazines back soon. HKParts does have some used German mags. Prices and conditions range. Your other bet really is just watch the classifieds (AR15, HKPro, Sturm, GB). I have gotten a few deals in the past, best being a pack of 5 NIW German LEOs for 35$ a piece

Ya he has them for a great price. I was just a little to late into the MP5 clone game when they were available.

IIRC he has more on order, but POF can take a while. Hopefully soon as I would love to get another 5-10 POF magazines

RTG is one of my favorite vendors.

POF mags are GTG, so are the new ATI ones which IIRC are korean.

They want $15+ to ship one magazine. Ridiculous.

I've used the POF mags exclusively and have been very happy.  I'm about 1000 rounds through my POF without any failures.

Korean ATI mags work perfectly in my POF. You can get them from RTG parts for about $18

Are the Korean ones at Centerfire any good?  They don't have ATI markings.

I want to buy more just making a point. Still a little more than I want to pay for a POF mag.

Shop around, there are some decent prices to be had on nice used HK mags. Also, wait if you can to see what goodies Zenith brings in soon.

Ended talking to my clone builder. He is selling me a couple for a lower price than Atlantic and with better shipping. Win win.

I picked up 5 of the POF mags from Atlantic a lil' while back and they work great, hopefully other vendors get some in at a better price.
I assume it's taking forever to get them in due to 922r related stuff?

I have not heard that. They come with a heavy finish that will smooth out after being worn down by repeated insertions.

Many of the Korean magazines i've dealt with needed feedlip tweaks, new followers in a few isloated cases, and a heavier mag spring didn't hurt. Also the park finish needs to be smoothed down as they don't remove the grit on them. There is a link on HKPro somewhere but I cannot find it right now

None of my 18 korean mags have needed feed lip adjustments. They all function flawlessly.

Korean mags that I've used were garbage. I know guys swear by them but I used the 4th gen ones and the bump outs and feed lips were not in spec on them. I never recommend them because these issues caused them to not lock in my clones and the bottom of the bolt dragged on the feed lips because the width of the opening between the feed lips was too narrow. I am not trying to talk trash or anything these are just my observations with these mags. I wish they worked as they are cheap!

I have several used German mags I was able to find for around $50 each as well as new ones I was able to find for $60 new when you buy in quantity. This is of course the best option but also the most costly.

I have a few dozen of the POF mags from RTG before he ran out and they run as well as the German mags. The main difference is the finish but other than being blued fit and finish is excellent.,

What I a waiting for is Zenith to get their mags in country, I emailed them several months ago and supposedly they are bringing plastic and metal mags for the MP5, HK33 and G3 into the US. I have read that the Turkish MP5 mags are as nice as, if not nicer than the POF ones. I wonder what the street price on the MKE steel mags will be?

If I were in the market for mags right now I would go for used German mags, YMMV.

POF mags are back in stock at Atlantic Arms, a little steep though at $48 a piece.

HK Parts has 80s vintage German surplus in stock. I grabbed a few. They did need a serious cleaning and have a bit of wear to them but no dents or damage on the ones I got. They work perfect as-is but I ordered some Wolff springs just because of their age. Including the new springs I'm into them a little over $50 apiece.

I just got one, the finish is slightly worn but the condition is good, mine was just covered in a thin grease.  Spring is as strong as the new Koreans I got, I have a feeling he replaced them.

Mke mp5 and 33 magazines. The mp5s are all plastic, the one I have fits tight and has worked well. The 33 mags need fitted to a century 33 though.
