I have 2 DJ Getz, Full size Navy, and the K gun... It's not an obsession till I get a SD

I'm in Yardley. You can come shoot mine (DJG/TPM) if you want to just cement this down and be done with it.

There's nobody who shot an MP5SD for the first time and did not react a little bit in some childlike way.

Love it, makes it a lot smaller when folded. Allows it to be concealed. Pretty solid when opened.

I have both and the B&T is def better.

I'm looking to build something basically identical to this minus the fun switch. What's the best quality/value build to start on? I don't want to break the bank but I want something good before filing the paperwork.

If you're going to SBR and want a shooter, I would recommend either the AA (atlantic arms) DJ Getz or Turner. These have a US receiver and other parts that reduce the cost of creating an SBR because you won't have to replace as many parts for 922r.

If you don't mind going a little extra, or desire to have a gun made under license on actual HK tooling, look at the POF and the MKE guns.

I just got an MKE and it is REALLY nice. But SBR'ing one of these two costs more because you have to replace more parts with US made ones.
