I've read someone is making a ump stock adapter for the evo, knowing that I'd say the ACR stock would be a good fit too:)

Nice. I was "investor" #3 on that project and was more excited at every update!

Now I'm waiting on the ACR stock from Bushmaster. My dumbass should have ordered it months ago.

I believe changing the stock on a firearm which is arguably already a cobbled together firearm, now it really is a franken odd-ball gun. Looks cool though but I can't see the value of trying to make a UMP clone and then bastardizing it.

I'm not following you? Do you think OP built this gun for value purposes or to shoot it? There will be no UMP clone that isn't cobbled together. The "value" is the OP has the rifle he wants.

Other than those of us who have grafted a UMP rear hinge section onto a USC, there isnt anything cobbled together. If OP wants a UMP stock all he has to do is undo 1 screw, and put the UMP stock in it. No different than all the various AR builds people on this site have displayed.

Because a USC is basically an import compliant POS gun. But UMP'ing you get:

1) 25 round mags
2) Dump stupid 16" BBL
3) Flanged BBL for Silencer
4) Dump Keyhole stock
5) Get adjustable stock
6) Stock height now allows optics with cheek weld

Hardly cobbled together as all parts fit the same as the UMP, except the stock, which is actually a better design and affords more choices than the 1 HK gives you. 5 & 6 you cannot even get on a factory HK/UMP.

Yes same but now the cheek weld for the optic is optimum.

A special stock block designed for the ACR.

If it were legal to put my HK sear in one of these, I would pay for one of these builds tomorrow. I love UMPs.

In semi only though, I'm going to have to put this further down on the must-have list.

Regardless, I do love what you did with it. Looks great

That may be the nicest UMP on the net - what a gorgeous piece of hardware. The stock looks like it was (and should have been) designed for it - great call not to use a wobbly, over-priced Choate folder. Nice work!
