Here's the range report as promised. I started with 2 pistols, 8" and 12" and 2 types of .308 ammo, both German. I show the 2 types of ammo, one copper coated bullets and one nickle. The target 50 yards away.
The 12" has a 3x30 Trijicon on top.

Okay so the 12" pistol with the Trijicon sight and the copper bullets at 50 yards first. The 5 shot group
measured 1 3/8". I was impressed.

Then I shot 5 rounds of the other ammo right over the top of the first and the pattern opened up with 2 fliers left and right.

then I fired 5 rounds out of the 8" model with open sights. i used the "2" hole so they hit high but the pattern was good. just a little bigger than the 12" with optics.

Lastly I went 12 clicks up on the Trijicon, then I fired 20 rounds of the copper plated ammo through the 12" at a fairly fast rate. A minute 10 seconds for the whole magazine and if I get to throw away 2 shots the group is better than 2". I'm going to try some better ammo next. to be continued.

I wish the 12" was available when I purchased my 51. I feel the barrel length is a little more usable.

Still big fun to shoot. But my friends hate the concussion.

Is your 12" significantly less flash and concussion or pretty much the same?

Converted my 12" PDW to a SBR, gotta get back out to the range with it!

Looks awesome! I love my G3K SBR. Just add a paddle and the correct triple frame (atleast I would)

I've got a 8" PDW and a GI in 18" and am now suddenly really liking the way these look and the balance between the two that I already have...

Wanted to get another suppressor but damned if that doesn't look good.

thanks, I actually already changed the trigger housing to the on in the photo.  It came with a funky housing that looked way off for my tastes.  I am planning on an Eotech optic and a AAC suppressor mount for my SDN6.
