I have one of the original PTR-91's that was made during the AWB, ser# in the 500's, hence no flash hider on the barrel. Can a threaded flash hider be installed? Will the threading of the barrel affect the target crown on the barrel? On an average if it can be installed, what is the average price for having a PTR-91 barrel threaded and a flash hider in stalled? What is a recommendation for a good brand of flash hider for me to buy? I don't need the best flash hider (unless there is a $25 difference between good and best) but i don't want crap. Just one that will do the job of hiding the muzzle flash. Please advise an old man.
