You only need one length, and if it's a collapsing stock, it should be in the open position.

You do know that the "can't go shorter than registered" thing is a myth, right? Once you have an SBR stamp, you can make the rifle whatever length you want. Shorter than registered, longer than registered, whatever.

Reason I ask is because you wanted to list the shortest OAL possible.
