Does your POF5 split as many empty cases as mine? It seems that just about half of the cases ejected from my firearm are split on one side as shown below. This happens with both 9mm Luger and 9mm NATO rounds.

Looks like the chamber is too big....

I'd shoot Ghillie an email asking his opinion.

Woah...that looks really bad.  The POF I had didn't do that.  You could see the pattern of the chamber flutes on the brass, but it was just carbon on the surface.  Those look like the brass is flowing/forming into the flutes.

Mine has not split any cases, from aluminum, to brass, to steel.

I have not had any split cases in hundreds of rounds I have shot with my POF.

I have spoken to Atlantic Firearms, they are taking care of it.

The first round I put through it I had to use a steel rod and hammer to get the spent case out of the chamber. It ran fine after that, just chewed up the cases like shown.
