This is new item out from PTR 91 the PTR 51P PDW .308. These are similar in size to the original MP5 9 mm sporting a 8 inch threaded barrel with removable flash hider and MP5 style handguard . The pistols are a great Candidate for your NFA Short barreled rifle project or install a Stabilizing brace for shooting comfort and increased accuracy . The pistols have an Optic Rail on the receiver for ease of adding your favorite optic . Another nice exclusive feature is the 51P Arm Brace Ready buttcap , designed to easily take a pistol stabilizing brace if so desired .

How do these pistols shot with cheaper ammo? I had an older PTR with the TC Barrel and extraction problems with surplus ammo. I ended up selling it as I wasn't happy with the company's response at the time.
Now, I'd like to replace that early PTR I had with a GI model or wait to see if MKE can bring in a true factory contact G3. I'd really like to have the more assured reliability of a true HK91 but can't find any locally for less than $1800.00 plus tax. That said I would like to pick up a PTR PDW as a range toy and to use the stack of G3 magazines I have. |

First, let me say that I currently own a PTR91 A3R manufactured in April this year, I've only fired the Turkish zq ammo through it; but it's been flawless. I added a hk bipod to it, and I love it. Everything fits nice and tight, with nice welds and a very nice finish. I've owned a Century Cetme and C93 in the past and this is levels above those in quality.
I looked on the Atlantic firearms website earlier today, and did not see this listed. How much does it cost? Also, the end cap that is designed to take the sig arm brace; will this take a regular ar15 buffer tube? Is the end cap available separately? I want to add a modified Fostech outdoors bump fire stock to my existing PTR91. |

We do not sell the buttcap separately they are currently only being offered on our new current production 51P & KP pistols. Yes they will take the normal AR15 buffer tube

Any 12" or 14.5" version in the works? The 8" barrel is just a little too short for me.

I see. The "MOORE ADVANCED DYNAMICS MAD G3K"; but, the only review I could find on the product looked like an industry review instead of someone that actually spent their own funds for one. Going to a gun show tomorrow. Maybe I can find a real HK 91 at the show and have it converted.
