About the rifle and first impressions
Atlantic firearms started producing these rifles late last year. I ordered mine in the middle of march. They are one of the more affordable Mp5 clones on the market when staying true to the roller locking design. Before I ordered I gave Atlantic a call and spoke with Blaine about the manufacturing and test rounds they run through each gun. He answered all of my questions and was very helpful so with that and the reputation of Atlantic Firearms I decided to pull the trigger on it. Once I received it I was impressed with the quality of it. All of the welds looked good and the finish was really nice. The rifle came with one German 30[/U] round magazine, a hard rifle case and a packet of information which included a digital and a hard copy of the owners manual which goes into some good depth on the rifle.

Range trip
I stocked up on different types and qualities of ammo to test with the rifle. I shot a good bit, guessing some where between 500-700 rounds through it. This consisted of standard wolf 115 grain steel cased, several other brass 115 grain rounds, a generic 124 grain brass round and several 147 grain brands. These all ran in the rifle without any trouble. I also ran a few defensive rounds through it without any trouble as well. These were Hornady critical duty 135 grain, 147 Speer Gold Dots, Federal HST, Winchester PDX1. I ran all of this through the German magazine provided and also a Korean gen 4 magazine. I had zero trouble with any round or magazine. The accuracy of the rifle was surprising to me. I was able to hit a 5 inch steel plate at 100 yards. I did not measure any groups or adjust the sights any and this accuracy was out of the box.

Overall fit and quality
I have been very pleased with the over all fit and finish of the rifle, all the weld look good and the finish seems to be very durable so far. The selector switch is very positive and actually takes a little bit of wear to be able to switch easily. Maybe 100 times back and forth till it was worn in. The trigger, I have been very impressed with, Its not a match grade AR trigger but its not some European battle rifle trigger either. Its got the right amount of uptake and then a crisp break, Zero creep or grit in it. I do not have a way to measure the trigger weight but I would say its around 6.5 lbs maybe less. The disconnect is nice and distinct. OK so there is one catch with the fit of the rifle. The rear pin could use a little better alignment. It does take some work to remove the pin and to re-install the pin, I typically take a brass punch and a hammer or screw driver and give it a nice hit and it knocks it loss, you can visibly see the alignment is a little bit off but it does not really cause any trouble. I would personally want it tight then it to be too lose. The front pin is easier to remove and can be done with no tools. I am very pleased with the turnout of the overall rifle and would suggest this rifle to anyone who is looking for a HK94 clone.

I ordered my Mp5 clone from Atlantic Firearms a few years ago (MKE) also.  I too called and spoke to Blaine before hand and as you experienced, he answered all my questions.  Mine is SBR'ed now and it runs very smooth.  You can't beat Atlantic Firearms for their Customer Service.  I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have enjoyed mine.

I don't think it will be that bad, you can tell where the pin is welded at so I'm thinking just grind the weld off and heat the pin up and it should come out or loosen up enough to pick/pull the pin out. I have heard of people having trouble but I think that might be self inflicted trouble. When I get my stamp back I'll post an update on how the removal went and how she shoots and shoulda suppressed.
