I'm normally an optics guy but I've taken the "classic" approach with the MP5s. I think I'll leave the SD with the A2 but maybe I'll go more modern on the SP5 like you did. I have the KAC RAS and RDS mount and I kind of want to go back to it. The B&T is really the best of both worlds since it feels like the A2 but gives you the reduced length of the A3. It looks great with the more modern setup too. The A3 looks but proper but really sucks to shoot with. I'm half tempted to sell it just because of their current value but I could see myself changing my mind down the road. Old setup: |

Old setup: https://i.imgur.com/4L19mo7.jpg View Quote That's a sweet setup. I just sold my optic mount. I'm just going to run the irons and keep it fairly straight forward as it currently sits. I was digging through my parts box and pulled out a KAC Terminator hand stop, so I added it to the front end like yours, but I'll keep the B&T folder on there and just run the KAC RAS. No more than that. I never intended it to be more than just a range toy, and by dressing it up the way I had it I just felt was a waste. For the record I absolutely love the look of the A3, but from an aesthetic and ergonomic standpoint I do prefer the B&T folder. It's also a real deal German factory MP5 A3, so it kinda sucks to part with it because of the authenticity and pureness factor. If I was going to hang it on a wall for show and tell it would be a different story, but I intend to have some fun with it at my local club. |

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you’re capable of great violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful, you’re harmless.

I love the classic look but I decided to go ahead and throw some tactical bits together.

Moving my spare MRO to my Zenith clone and want an opinion on mount. I'm leaning towards the geissele mount. It's already pretty tall and the scalarworks 1.93 mount is way tall. But I could use the irons with the scarlarworks mount which is cool

get a absolute height scalar works mount--you can see the sights through it, and it is not too high.

I love the look, but does the front hood fall right in front of the dot? I keep going back and forth in doing this to mine. |
