Anything like what you mentioned that will stand up to the FALs recoil will be
ACOG $$$. One of my favorite optics I used on a FAL was an Aimpoint. You might look into a Trijicon Accupower or Accupoint. I think the Accupoint is a little less expensive and one of them has a BDC ladder for 5.56 which would work ok for 7.62 as well. I've used my 1-4 Accupoint on the FAL but it's really heavy. |

If I dont like that either I can always move it to another rifle in the pile. Id like to hear more about the Lucid fixed sight , but there is not much feedback on them. |

Yeah the PA "prism" scopes may be the way to go. The Lucid doesn't have any kind of BDC, that's the only thing that bothers me about it.

I use a TA11 on mine and it is phenomenal. Can hit clays at 200yds. Just picked up one used for $725 including shipping and an ARMS throw lever mount.

I'm told that the SWFA Super sniper scopes can take a fals recoil pulse.
But I have no experience with this, someone else could probably collaborate, or correct me on this though. Eta: sorry meant to say also that the ss scope runs about $ 400 to 500 in price point on their website. |

The only other semi-auto I've shot that comes close to being as gentle as the FAL is the MAS Mle. 49.
