Cool! I'll have to look in my FAL Blake Stevens Bible and see what I can find out.
I doubt it's an L1A1 because no tabs on rear bottom of top cover from what I can tell. If it's not after market I would think it's a rare find! Does it have any markings on it? Looks very Parker Hale(ish) How is it attached to top cover rivets? |

just looks like someone decided to weld a peep sight to a dust cover. does not look factory
