I have a DSA FAL SA58 16" with a DSA railed dust cover installed. I also have a Aimpoint in a LaRue mount I removed from one of my ARs. Can I use the Aimpoint on my FAL or will the mount be too high?

Not to be a smart*ss, but why don't you try it?
Lots of different height mounts, different stocks, and different body construction.
Good luck

probably be too high for a cheek weld, but not a chin weld. I had to use low rings to get a scope to mount and be comfortable. My micro dot I installed direct to the rail with no riser and it was almost perfect.

The mount is in Georgia and the FAL is in Florida at the moment. I think it's too high as stated above. Guess I will get a low mount and save the other for a future AR build.
