I picked these up in a lot of some AK parts and am having a hard time identifying them.  I have previously been told that these look as though they were "bubba'd" with the scalloped edges?
They have a feel as though they would be a "hardwood" upgrade or something, but I do not know much about FAL/L1A1's... Does anyone know if there is anything special about these or are simply "bubba'd"?

Thanks in advance for the help!

-Mike

Thanks for the info guys. I'm trying to learn where I can.

I added another picture to the original post.  My links weren't working because I had done it from work.  Fixed now!
