You can use any cheap section of rail and a screw to bolt it through one of the vent holes on the handguard. DSA sold (and possibly still sells) a section of rail ostensibly designed for this purpose, but it doesn't do anything that can't also be done with a rail segment from Walmart and a few nuts and bolts.

DSA used to sell a small section of rail that bolted to the handguard through the vent slots.
It will work but sets too far away from the handguard for my liking. Magpul makes small sections of rail with hardware that will also mount to the FAL handguard and that is what I have on mine. It fits closer to the handguard and is easier to mount a useable light. |
