If only their factory semi-autos ran as well as the ones in the video, they'd be even more awesome..

Ohhh tough crowd.
Every citizen should be a soldier. This was the case with the Greeks and Romans, and must be that of every free state.

Wow, i had no idea. I really thought these firearms functioned flawlessly. They look like nice kits.

Surplus mags work just fine.

Huh??

Yes, surplus mags do work fine, but if the rifle doesn't work then it's just a short club. I don't like kicking DSA when they're down, but their recent QC/shipping/customer service issues are big enough to give them a serious black eye in the FAL-shooting community.

I was not aware of the recent issues. Should the older rifles built from STG-58 kits be okay?

Probably...

Their early rifles that were made with surplus parts were very high quality. It is when they ran out of mil-surp parts and started making their own that problems began to surface. They are a crap-shoot, as you might get a perfectly-functioning FAL from them, while your buddy's DSA FAL ends up going back and forth to them before it's correct. For further reading check out some posts concerning the company on the FAL Files.
