THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I've registered on the FAL Files site but for some reason, can't post there. If anyone can contact a moderator, I'd be grateful. I am Nu2FAL over there. |

is there any way possible to get a picture, or pictures? The more detailed the better.
You can start by searching these key words: L1A1 Belgian FAL Austrian FAL Israeli FAL Australian FAL STG58 G1 FAL I'm sure there's more, and I may have stated the same thing twice, but there are a lot of variants out there that can be had. |

Thanks for the replies.
I've been doing a ton of reading and sometimes more confused than when i started. Type 1, type 2, type 3, inch, metric? Much to learn. Still can't figure out why I can't post on the FAL Files board. |

Type 3 they cut back on machining to save money. Here is a photo of all 3. Type 2 on top, type 3 in the middle, type 1 on bottom,.

My Israeli light-barrel, built from a 1967-dated kit and an Entreprise Arms "Israel Match" Type 1 receiver.
Same rifle but with different furniture, masquerading as a Belgian M2, except for the Inch pattern wood handguards. ![]() |
