They are pricey barrels, but they seem to be original NOS barrels. Not my auction (unless I live in France)...

Me too. It cost me $640 in the first sale that CMP made about 15 years ago.

nice! did you get just the rifle or the entire kit?

I got a SG rifle from them a few years ago, I just need a USGI cheekpad and flash hider to complete it.
the stock was hideous when I got it

CMP is still the way to go if you want a D. Only downer is that M84 scopes , mounts and D accessories are super $ anymore.

Got one in the last lottery in 1999 and have had a repro or two over the yrs.
This one is a CMP RG D  from a couple of yrs ago, I had the scope and mount and original D buttstock and cheek piece from when the CMP was selling them cheap yrs ago.

anyone have literature or knowledge on actually using the M84 scope? I know how to set zero and adjust the nobs, are we using the tip of the post at 100 yards for zero or the crosshair?

I think I have a Tech Manual on the scope or the M1-D.  When I get some time, I will look for it and post it here.

I also got an M1-D via the very first DCM lottery.  It cost $650 for an entire kit.  The only disappointment (which is far too strong a word) is that mine came with the prong flash hider rather than the cone/funnel type.  All in all, for $650, it was a great deal.

I wonder what an authentic set, including DCM box and papers, would sell for these days?  Anyone know?  I mean, if the barrel sells for $825,...???

a legit M84 in good condition on ebay averages $1000. I got lucky and picked mine up around $750. learn how to spot the difference between USGI and the new chinese crap. the repros fucking suck according to everything I have read, same with the mount.

I got picked in that last lottery as well--one of 20.  If I recall correctly, they drew 200 names initially and had 20 no-shows.  That was a good week for me.

All parts new in wrappers. Scope, cheek piece, mount, and prong flash suppressor. No marks on the wood or metal.

$825 for a barrel,... $1,000 for the scope,...what does the scope base sell for?

With parts prices like that, what is the price for an authentic DCM/CMP M1-D, complete kit?

Where does one go to research prices and/or sell?
