Are you looking at the SAGE M14ALCS/CV with the receiver extension tube?
Have you also considered the Blackfeather RS? Also, the Vltor, SAGE, and Blackfeather are made better when the M14 trigger shoe is added. |

I'm leaning more toward the vltor but the sage is a nice set up The model is M14ALCS... |

I have been going through the same question. I have 2 MCS chassis rifles and my 3rd rifle is about to get a new stock. Thus far after having chassis the need to be integrated into the gun, I leaning get towards the modstock. Just for the quickness of install and straight forward useage.

The Vltor is a GI fiberglass stock that had it's butt stock cut-off behind the trigger, and a pistil grip, AR style buffer tube butt stock is bolted to what's left of the old stock. It is a little lighter than the M14ALCS.
