Frankly , the AP bullets are darn near worth what you paid for it. To put that in context Google .308 AP bullets and you will see what I mean.

Any AP ammo is going to be around $1 a round right now. Actually it has been at that price for awhile now. Include the enblocks at 1.50 each, you are really not too far out of the ball park for the going rate right now. If you want some AP, I'd say pick it up. If you want blasting ammo, look around and buy cheaper ammo to run through the garand. |

When the check comes in for my ex burning down our farm, I'll stop by the gunshop and see if he still has crates available, since the price was a hair under $1 a round. Hope to fire a few before then, to make sure it goes bang. FWIW, I like the idea of having reliable AP ammo on hand. Don't know why though. |
