Midway's having a sale on these; anyone have any comments on this stock?

It's like putting on crampons and walking through a room full of puppies.

It is incredibly ugly. However, all 6 Midway reviewers seemed to like it, even if a couple had fitting problems.

I would like to give one a try.

I like that it's got built-in LOP and comb height adjustments. My concern is that it won't hold the action well, allowing for that wandering zero.

I am loving mine. It is a very tight fit. I had to do 5 minutes of trimming just like the directions said I might have too. It cannot be compared to the $800+ stocks like the JAE or MCS. It is an all plastic replacement with many features the factory stock does not have. If you are looking for a precision stock keep saving your money, but you are not loosing any precision with this stock either.

I like mine too. Had to trim to fit also.

I haven't shot mine enough to notice it shifting in the stock but it's a damn tight fit. The cheekweld is great too.

The ProMag rep at SHOT Show told me it was better than a JAE.

How much trimming did you have to do? Do you think using sandpaper would provide a better fit?

I used a flat file. Took about 30 min total. I went slow slow. I removed just enough material that I can squeeze the action into the stock with a lot of effort. Sandpaper would have taken about 2 hrs probably.
