1954 Springfield CMP special, talking with Fluffy and a couple others after sending pictures of all the drawing numbers it's about 90% certain this is a correct Garand, not counting the stock of course. My pup Molly is guarding it.

And when you say co-witness, do you mean lower 1/3? |

Is your M1A a NM or Loaded? Or maybe some other brand with a Stainless barrel... Fulton?
Nice pic. Great collection. I really an enamored with my 03A3. I like it better than Garands. I got mine from the CMP and it's all remington too. I did buy a scant stock for it though. I've yet to shoot it with that stock. |

I have plans to shoot it, along with my 1903 at Camp Perry in the future, along with the M1 Garand. May even take the AR15 NM along as well. Shooting the M1 Garand match is a lot of fun, and if I'm gonna make the drive, might as well go all in! |

The chu wood stock is probably lighter though.
Didn't mean to mess you up. I was sort of wondering if it was a polytech rifle but you called it an M1A...... Plus the poly's are usually lighter in color. Well the ones I've seen. |
