I saw that Botach had Benelli M4s for $1200. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I know that Botach has a mixed review reputation but am I missing something that makes em $1200??  Cheapest Ive seen em on GB has been around $1800.

UPDATE:  Well it looks like they have updated the ad to include "SHOW DEMO GUN 99%"  So obviously the guns aren't totally NIB which I'm still ok with.  All my guns are shooters and not safe queens.  I just got off the phone with Botach and supposedly they are in stock and ready for Form 3 transfer.  Let the wait begin.

These are the 14" shorter barrel models, just FYI. You lose a good deal of capacity and in my opinion do not gain enough on length savings or weight savings to justify it.

Oh yea, Im well aware they are NFA SBS. Thats why I posted here. Im just trying to figure out why they are $1200 instead of $1800-$2000.

I'd pay more if I really wanted from just to buy from someone other than Botach.

Can you imagine the potential for screwups with that outfit going through a Form 3 to a local dealer?

I'd go for one but just blew a bunch of money on a HK/Benelli M1 Super 90 14" entry. Then upgraded it with some Nordic components, Mesa Urbino stock with cheek riser and limb saver.

Nice.  We still have two M1 entry guns on my team that are going strong.

There is NO WAY that I would give them 6-9 months to screw up that transfer.

They will sell yours and have to do a serial change report, they might sell 15 when they only have 5 in stock... they will invent new ways to screw up the whole deal with that amount of time being involved.

They are cheap because they are NFA and much harder to sell since alot of states ban SBS's also nobody wants to wait that long for a 4" savings.. if you look up really any SBS variant they will always be a lot cheaper then their title1 counterpart.

All sold.  The 14" M4 typically sells NIB for $1800 to $2000.  The M80 rail adds $100.  I'd say that Botach deal was excellent.  The 14" M4 is still a seven shell deal with 5+1+1.

Is that a shotgun thing?
Colt SBRs are several hundred more than a run of the mill 6920...

wow, that was a great deal.  However, with Botach handling it, who knows if you will ever see it.  I just ordered an MP5 mount from them off of ebay and they even screwed that up sending the wrong one.  They fixed it, but it took a while and they wanted pics and all that.

Anyway, I sold a surefire foreend NIB like the guns being offered here and got over $550 for it.  Add in the value of the stock and that is over half the price of the gun.

EForm 3 is a 1 business day clear.  Even paper is going fast. Less time for them to screw up.
