If you already had 3 radial cones and 3 60* cones, and you were building a 7.62mm suppressor that would mostly be used with .300 blk (subs and supers), would you put the radials closer to the blast chamber or closer to the end cap?

I was thinking put the 60* cones near the BC where ( in theory) pressure would be higher.  However, not sure about this.

I'm gonna bump this thread to hear some answers.

I did this with a 8" apogee titanium tube.

It was very quiet with very little back pressure.

3 60 degree stainless from Zmachine Workz
6 titanium radial from Zmachine Workz
coned end cap from DM

I would say cones closer, but not sure it really matters.

Which type of baffle closest to the BC?

60 degree cone baffles, then the rest are radial baffles

The first cone does not have a mouse hole

Cone baffles do not use "mouse holes"
These were features found in older K-Baffle designs
Outer edge holes, in cone baffles, are called ports and sometimes referred to as drain holes.

Did you use the same style of clipping (if any) between the cones and radials?

Yes.  I "clipped" all baffles except the first 60 degree blast baffle.  Form 1 boards recommended 1/3 surface area of the bore for the "clipping".
This formula worked well for me.
