All bets are off if that's the case. It doesn't show up on the form, but I've always assumed the ATF could see it. Does a suppressor over .5" bore count as a DD? |

My idea is to simply re-submit a exact same stamp tomorrow but fix the mistakes. If the first one is denied, I'll be good with the 2nd. If the 1st is approved, then the 2nd would be denied cause it has the same serial no. |

It will only cause confusion about your intent and could cause conflicts if the first form is approved and then they turn down the other. Submit the second with a unique number and keep both if both are approved or request the second be cancelled and refunded if the first submission is approved. |

I'll change the serial slightly. EDIT: Submitted the back-up stamp. I changed the serial. If the first one is approved, I'll be surprised, but happy. If the 2nd one is approved too, I may ask for a refund, or I might just run with it. I'll probably be happy I got an extra stamp anyways. Gotta pick up my MPX from my dealer once they give me a call, either today or tomorrow. Fedex said it got delivered today. That will be my final form 1 . Probably not any form 4s either, unless I come across a screaming deal. Time to wait. |

Yes, they are the D size, I got from Amazon.
It looks like Amazon doesn't sell them anymore. But there are some on eBay under solvent trap |

So when I get the tube engraved, I should put "Caliber: 46" on the can? You typed 45 twice, and the. Your question says 46. As an example, some of my F1s have 30 (no decimal) on the form, and I engraved Cal: .30 |

I'm assuming Blackout? What are the specs? Like the looks of that. I'm thinking of building one this summer, along with the 3 F1 approvals.

any thoughts on if the DM titanium 7" 1.5"od can for use on a 7.5" sbr (5.56) ?
I'd like to use it on mine, but I'm not sure of strength of the can for that short of a barrel? |

Looking at pictures of the salvo 12 it seems like a simple enough design to copy and plug into a cnc machine. Has anyone attempted to do something similar?
I got an extra form I'm still deciding what to do with. It would be pretty cool to suppress some of my scatter guns. |

I haven't looked into this in over a year but its anybody out there selling tubes, etc these days? Last I looked it was done with freeze plugs. Is that still the way or is there something better now?

Fwiw there's a pretty active Facebook group on form 1 stuff.
I'm sitting on a approved form 1. But I'd rather wait until I can build something really cool out with it. |

DM lathe bores the ID of his premium tubes. Select tubes are mill finished so the ID is to tubing spec, probably nominal +/- 0.002”. Since it is a kit, all the cones should slide in but likely a slightly looser fit than is possible with a bored tube.
You will want to clip the cones as well as drill to get the quietest result. This can be a single scoop cut in the cone tip side wall, a half step cut with a dermal, or a double hybrid clip. Depends on the cones and your skills/design. If they ship with his pig nose baffles those might be already double side ported so that a big enough center drill opening creates the clips. |

That anodizing turned out nice. What’s the spacing on your cone skirts?
How is the first round pop? It seems big blast chambers on rimfire contribute to first round pop. If that’s the case, you could split that BC spacer into two, and reduce the blast chamber and space the last cone off the front cap. And this would still allow for returning to the original configuration. |

Interested in how that half clip would for a 30 cal can. Looks like something that could easily be cut with a hand file after drilling.
