I saw where someone, and individual, had come up with an extended magazine release some years ago.  He was making them for people who would order from him personally.  But I cannot find any information about them or him now.

Does anyone know anything about this?

He doesn't make them anymore, however, ASI sells one.  MidwayUSA has them in blued or stainless HERE.
