had one in the safe for a good 8 months now, still unfired. Cant decide on a scope. Its light and short which is what I wanted. A handy bolt to target, varmint and teach with or go walk around the woods with without freaking out the locals by having an assault rifle. I intended it to be a really inconspicuous stalking rifle but we have weird state laws here with minimum caliber requirements for deer and yotes and such. Most reviews I read are it is surprisingly accurate and fun. The bolt isnt the smoothest in the world but better than a mosin so Im happy... or I will be once I shoot the dang thing.

Well I bought one. Shot it today and it's accurate. That thin barrel heats up quick!

Here's mine, wearing a Bushnell AR 4.5-18 40mm scope.

I have one. Bought it this spring and have done quite a lot of shooting with it this summer. All just punching paper off the bench at 100 and 200 yards.

I have tried lots of different reloads with it, and it likes light bullets as much as heavy ones.

I had a bit of trouble getting it to shoot consistently at the beginning, but accuracy is getting very good as I get it broken in.

When it heated up a bit, the forearm would get a little flimsy and it would touch the barrel a little. I removed a little on the barrel channel on the one side and starting using a bipod...was using a bulls bag style bag and went away from that.

Have had one 3 round group at 200 that was under 3/4"......most shooting done at 100. It will now do 1 " @ 100 yards all day long with my different loads. More often under 3/4" and some smaller. Just 3 and 5 round groups.

I like it alot.

Here's mine, wife's is set up exactly the same.
Ruger American Ranch 5.56
Harris Bipod
Nikon P223 3-9x40

Went out and tried some reloads. Seems it likes the Hornady 68gr Match, and 55gr V-Max bullets pretty well. The Nosler 68gr CC,  and Hornady 52gr A-Max bullets grouped around 3". The 45mph crosswind probably didn't help either. Was able to keep the 68gr and 55gr rounds in about a 1.5" 15rnd group at 100yds. The 68gr Hornady Match bullet load were fairly mild loads. It was too windy to setup a chronograph. Your bulk factory 5.56 ammo does about 2" at 100yds, haven't tried any factory 223 yet, just M193 and M855.

Predator model? If not, do you think a heavier taper would help?
