The selector switch.
Ah, gotcha (it's an AC-556, the full auto version of a Mini-14)
That much I know, just never seen one up close, therefore didn't recognize the selector switch. |

is that an ATI Strikeforce Stock with a Magpul adjustable butt?? What kind of mag? Does it work? I'm assuming Ciener conversion? Would love a drum like that for the AC556. |

Many A-Team fans in this thread....
I hope yours shoot better than theirs because I don't think in all the seasons of that show they ever actually shot any one. |

Wow, that doesn't even look like a Mini any more. Archangel stock? |

That's like something out of my own head. If I were going to buy another Mini, I planned to build it very similar to what you have there. Very nice looking rifle. What rail are you using there? |

Stock is factory ruger that I stippled right on top of the factory checkering. I love the feel of it now. Even with wet or oily hands the gun feels secure in hand.

Somebody on this site had a post about possible production of a stock similar to the Ruger folders...........I wish someone would, as the GB I am getting would look sweet with one

The Tacticals look so darned good in the old folders. Wish Ruger would start producing those again. Your GB looks just like mine |

I removed the rubber butt-pad (just two screws) and I drilled out the hole that held the rear sling swivel, using a rat-tail file I fit a A2 sling swivel from a AR-15 butt-stock. I then I drilled out the back of the mini ranch stock and use a lower bolt from an M-14 butt-stock to hold the rear AR-15 sling swivel in place, replacing the lower wood screw that was on the Ruger stock. The front sling swivel I removed the "Loop" from a German 98K swivel mount, after I re-sized the hole in the gas block on the mini (don't drill to deep) it fit right in. Drilling the gas block on the mini was very hard, the rifle is stainless steel. |
