put together some parts that had been collecting dust for a while,
12.5 BA govt barrel with  one of those MicroMOA gas blocks you could order with any size hole you chose.
this one has whatever smallest hole (i think it was called "drill your own") they offered.
i thought it MIGHT cycle with a can, but Im not surprised that it did not function 20 rds out of 20 rds of guat 556 suppressed.

any advise on what I should drill to? will probably go slow and try a few different sizes, but still looking for info.

thanks

I shoot XM193 exclusively, but my 10.5" with a 0.049" Baby Govnah has never had a problem cycling.

Thanks, does anyone remember what size port the "drill it yourself" block came with?

I ordered 0.031 and 0.0469 bits from McMasterCarr right after I posted

Something else I thought of...I just used my 300blk lower that has a H2 in it, wonder how the upper would work with an H or carbine buffer...
what buffers are you guys using?

I have a JP-SCS in mine, which I've set up at H2 weight and carbine weight and had no issues either way.

....I guess I should have added a couple more size bits to the order! Carbine length here.

Ok, took a carbine buffer and a box of XM193 and Guat 556.

GUAT was still a no go.
XM193 17 rds perfect with can, removed can and back to single shot mode last 3 rds.

my bits were delivered (ordered at 5:08P yesterday delivered today at 12:58P ), I am going to try the 0.0469 and see what happens.

I run a Baby Govnah at .055 on an 11.5 inch cut down LMT. I run an H2 buffer. I went a little over what he recommended (.052) due to wanting 100% functionality with crappy ammunition and I’m using a .30 cal Sandman S with a bit less back pressure. It works like a charm. Very minimal gas coming back, smooth shooting, and reliable. Does not cycle without the suppressor though.

Are they ever "re-opening" ???

I've been wanting one of these for an 8" 300 blk that I only shoot subs with. I'm going to use another Sentry 7 rather than wait to see if they come back with these.

I sure hope so! I’d love to see them back in business. I’d especially like to see them back and making the Baby Govnah in .625 size.

That doesn't sound right.  Isn't the spec closer to 0.070?

I had a 16" carbine bbl with an 0.0625 port cut down to 11.5" some years ago and it def doesn't cycle without a can.

I'm not rocket scientist so I can't begin to explain it but it works great for me.
