Section 4h where you put what will be engraved on firearm, Name, City and State. Every other place on the application I used my full name Christopher.....in that particular section I used Chris. They told me I could only abbreviate the State in that section and that I need to use my full name. I crossed out Chris...replaced with Christopher then dated and initialed my change. Who would have thought that would be a problem?
 Forms are on the way back now...fingers crossed it wont be much longer once they receive.

Are they still waiting to mail multiple forms to FFLs instead of singles? When my can came back in the spring, it was approved almost 35 days before my FFL had the paperwork. Included with mine was 2 other approved forms (both way less than 35 days).

My next Form 1 was cashed 10/12. I'd love to see that letter in mailbox. While I like all of my SBRs, this one has me excited (CZ Bren 805 w/ ACR stock)

Yep will be interesting to see how it goes from this point. I have a Form 1 Individual SBR mailed 02/07/17 and went pending 02/15/2017. Called for the first time this week to check on it to make sure it was in the system. Now I have to get my form 1 can paperwork off.
ETA: This will be my second SBR, and the first one took 100 days door to door back in 2008. First one was a GSG, this will be the first AR based SBR. CZ Scorpion next after the form 1 cans. |

There's an entry on NFA tracker for a March 2017 send off being approved. That's really interesting. I looked at the date on my latest one and it was actually mid February when I sent it in. Makes me somewhat hopeful.

Paper Form 1 individual mailed last August 2016. Cash checked within a week (pretty standard). I've been overseas and have asked my wife to see if anything arrived in the mail. It's either in a pile of mail in the kitchen or should be arriving any day....

I would have expected more people to start posting approvals lately, instead it seems everything has slowed to a crawl. I'm on numerous NFA groups on FB and not many people are posting approvals anymore. I wonder if they reassigned people after the glut or just sent everyone on vacation.

My individual form1, SBR, mailed 09/30/2016 came back for correction today.
Didn't like that I abbreviated my full name to my initials and last name. So it would of been a approval if they weren't so picky. I fixed the error and sent it right back out today. Sad think is that I have another individual form1, SBR, pending from 10-07-2016 with the same problem. So I have that to look forward to.

Anyone know WTH is going on with Form 1 trusts? According to NFA tracker one hasn't been approved since 8/2/2017, I haven't seen people posting approvals for them in forums or online and I had a form 4 trust I submitted a month after the Form 1 I'm waiting for come back last week. I called the ATF but they couldn't give me an explanation.
