Should I go with a 7" or 10"?

I have a Spectre II (6" long) and DA MaskHD (5" Long).

Pics are welcomed.

4.5 cmmg, AAC element2 can, 7in rail.

Definitely 7"
Because you automatically "lose" and inch with rimfire AR barrels vs 556 guns

7" for sure!

7".  10" handguard will be way too long.

I have a 7" guard on mine with an TacSol Axiom with a 4.5 barrel.

I use the 7 inch Midwest industries G3M with my Mask and 4.5 inch cmmg barrel, the end of the Mask sticks out about an inch or so - just enough to tighten it down

7 it is then. I am slowly getting the parts together and trying to buy them at a deal.

OK, I have plans to do the same. Another question, when you remove your can, would there not be a possibility of the end cap still being on the end of the barrel and only the body of the can being removed? If so, how do you prevent this? Clear as mud?

Yes there would be.  Luckily there are cans like the Sparrow and the Surefire Ryder that can't have endcaps stuck to the barrel.  I think the Ruger Silent SR also prevents accidental disassembly.

Depends on the suppressor design. You could look at Gemtechs QDA system which creates a QD lug setup.

Like everyone said, it is suppressor design; Liberty Regulator is left hand threaded with an wave end cap which prevents this too.

Another solution like in my picture is have an easily removable handguard like the one I have in my picture.  Two screws and it is off.

Specter II is what I have. What free float would be easy to remove?
Thanks
