Been looking around and trying to figure out which stock I will put on my SBR. I have a couple stocks floating around, VLTOR Emod, M4 Socom. Was going to use the VLTOR on the current build which is a 10" Larue. I was going to use one of the Socoms on my AR10 carbine I had cut.

Came across a Sig fixed stock that CDNN is closing out and it looks pretty light and is the shorter length so I was thinking it's probably a decent practical stock. Right now the only fixed stock I have is a ACE skeleton stock on a 20" Armalite.

3 of mine have folders, 2 have collapsible stocks. I don't have any with fixed stocks.

Not a fan of ARs having a fixed stock in SBR format. This is my only SBR with a fixed stock.

I run a MOE fixed carbine on some of my SBRs. Especially those with magnified optics.

Yep one just like that, all the others have a retractable stock of some sort.

I have no use for telestocks. I only use fixed stocks. A2 or MagPul for the most part.

As long as the length of pull is right for you, I say go for it. I love a fixed stock if it works for me.

I don't really have a useful comment to make on the idea of running fixed stocks on SBRs, but I did want to thank @ALASKANFIRE for posting up about this stock. I did not yet have that one in the Parts Weights Database (check my sig if you've never heard of it or seen it!). I've added it now. In any case, thanks again!

I had a Magpul fixed carbine stock on another rifle and put on my (newly approved) SBR to test it out and really like the feel. Hope to shoot this weekend and confirm. Funny though - the LOP on that stock was too short for me a couple years ago but I'm coming around to it.

I use the Magpul fixed carbine stock as well, on my 9mm sbr and my full size rifle.
