I bought a couple Noveske Gen 2 lowers last year and SBR'd both of them. I lucked out finding a 10.5 SWB 5.56 upper and jumped on it when the stamp came back for the first one. I originally finished that one in Duracoat but ended up being unhappy with the finish so I stripped and sand blasted it and with the help of my brother (auto detail & paint shop manager) I learned how to cerakote. It's been a LONG journey but the result was a couple quality builds that I should be happy with for the duration.
I just finished assembling them a few days ago and the last optic just came in so it's picture time!

Both rifles will have VTAC bungee slings shortly cuz I like them too.
The pics below show what may look like a couple imperfections but it's really just some oil on the surface from cleaning that I didn't notice until the pics were done and rifles put away. These were the 3rd and 4th rifles I've cerakoted. I'm pretty sure every gun I have will be cerakoted by next year! Love that stuff and it's not hard to work with if you prep properly.
How'd I do?
