Looking to see how much clearance there is with a muzzle device/can if possible. Debating going to a 10" rail on my 10.3" from a shitty 9 inch Samson rail. I have the ability to run a Gemtech G5, Omega, 7.62 Saker, and hopefully soon a 556 Specwar. I'm sure these diff muzzle devices might allow me different lengths of room in front of the rail.
Anybody have any pics or sort of related ones?

I dont think 10" rail and 10.3" barrel is gonna cut it for any of those.

At that length your muzzle device is going to be partially under the rail.

Not sure about all those but I can tell you the ASR mount needs 1/2" longer barrel then rail length to have a flush fit.

What he said, part of your mount is going to be under the rail.

8" ALG rail

8.5" Barrel

ASR Muzzle Brake

ASR mount on Omega

I'd really like at least a 1/4" inch shorter rail.

Sort of related - this is my 10.5 barrel with 10" Centurion rail, ASR mount for Specwar.

You will need a rail no longer than 9.55" The DD MK18 RIS II is 9.55" and will fit just about any suppressor. My Daniel Defense 10.3" upper came with a 9" Omega X rail which is 9.23" Here it is with my SDN-6.

This isn't quite what you are looking for but close.

This is my wife's. 10" ALG hand guard with a Faxon 10.5" barrel.

Also included a pic of the Saker 7.62 on there. Her Saker K will be in ATF jail forever the way things are going. :-(

I can say this..... I am truly impressed with the quality of the ALG hand guard & the Faxon barrel. The fit and finish of both are outstanding. I'll have range reports soon. I've spent a lot more in the past and got less.
